We appreciate those who also sent in straight donations to cover the cost of the CDs. As a result we will turn around and donate CDs as Christmas gifts to At-Risk Women's ministries such as Hookers for Jesus in Las Vegas, a ministry that rescues young women from the lifestyle of prostitution.

An Op to bless Women in Africa

All of us at JHM Global, [Precious Woman Magazine's parent ministry] are appealing for your help today in anyway you can. Many of our projects in Africa are in a critical situation - they have been badly affected by the economy and people are hurting. There have also been many recent deaths of women and children in our communities from HIV/AIDS, as well as an increase in women being admitted into hospital due to HIV-related complications.

We have been seeking the Lord and are believing for miracles. We are desperately trying to send out a larger medical supply and more funding for food! Proven Way Retreat & Carol Kent

I had the privilege of sharing about the Beautiful Faith movement in Dallas last week at the Proven Way ministries women's leaders retreat at Prestonwood. More importantly, I met so many women with wonderful stories that exemplified God's beautiful faith. I was encouraged that so many leaders wanted to reach out and pour into generation next and now. We had funny discussions on facebook (which at the retreat I suddenly became an expert on). I also made some great new friendships including that with Carol and Gene Kent. I was so inspired by Carol's testimony about her son's incarceration. I also started reading her book Becoming a Woman of Influence. I added some of Carol's youtube videos to our YouTube channel. - Larissa

The Beautiful Faith movement heads to the great state of Texas July 16-17 for the Proven Way Ministries' Women's Leaders Retreat at Prestonwood Church. Look for the Beautiful Faith booth there. Tammy shares about her heartbreak from losing her husband and Ginny discusses her self-image issues growing up blind. Must see stories that will move you. We'll be giving away Beautiful Faith bookmarks and inviting women attending Spirit West Coast in Del Mar to join the movement. Executive director, Larissa Lam, will also be at the JCTV booth if you want to stop by and say "hi."

GMA week Nashville wrap up

I want to thank everyone who came by our Prayer Suite during Gospel Music Assn week in Nashville. We videotaped wonderfully personal stories of faith from the women and had men contribute stories about women in their lives. We also prayed for the artists and their ministries. Over the next few months, we'll begin editing and posting the video stories on our site and youtube channels. I believe these testimonies of God's faithfulness will help transform lives around the world.

Visit our prayer suite at the Hilton Nashville 10th Floor Room #1014 during GMA week. Open House hours Mon & Tues 4/20-21 9-11am & 3-5pm. Please visit us if you'd like to receive prayer and encouragement during the hustle and bustle of GMA week.
The Hilton is located next to the Sommet Center and across from the Country Music Hall of Fame.
